I'm also on my second playthrough of Banjo-Kazooie in less than a year, N64 original back in July and now the Japanese N64 version. However the Beaver Bother will always be a nuisance. Once you realize that, it's not really that tedious, it still is, but it becomes less. I have more or less memorized where everything is. The first was on the Wii U Virtual Console, then around may it was the original on the Nintendo 64 and now is the Japanese N64 version.
